Breach of League Rules – Chester White Eagles v Prescot Lynx

A complaint from Prescot Lynx relating to the use of illegal players in two matches against Chester White Eagles has been upheld by the MVL Committee. The photographic evidence provided shows that White Eagles committed a serious breach of league rules by using three ineligible players and have chosen to conceal this by entering false names on the scoresheets submitted to the league.

Judgement

The MVL committee has consequently resolved to nullify the results of these games and to award both matches to Prescot Lynx by three sets to nil, 25-0, 25-0, 25-0 with Chester White Eagles receiving 0 points.

In addition White Eagles are warned that any further use of these named players (or any evidence that they have been used in other matches) will result in the team being expelled from the league and the results of all their matches in the 2023-24 season expunged from the records.

The three players concerned, Volodymy Ferniuk, Santiago Quinn, and Jacob Lumb plus the captain Mac Michalowski who signed off the scoresheet and is equally culpable, are all banned from taking part in any further matches in the 2023-24 season and will will not be permitted to register as MVL players in the coming 2024-25 season.
