The MVL AGM and fixture meeting will be held on Tue 30th Sep at Alder Sports Club starting at 7:00pm.
All teams wishing to play in the league in 2025-26 must attend.
ENTRY CONFIRMATION
Please confirm ASAP that your team wishes to continue to play in the MVL in the upcoming season 2025/26, by completing the Team Registration form on the website below:
Even if you have not settled all details yet, please complete the form with at least your team name and preferred division to allow us to plan the league structure prior to the AGM.
Feel free to circulate this information to any other club/team you think might want to join the league.
Ask them to complete the Team Registration form or to contact myself or Andy Fuller if they want to discuss it further.

BEFORE THE AGM
- A questionnaire should have already been circulated to all clubs asking for feedback on a couple of issues (medals, mixed league, Spond). It is really important that all teams respond to this ASAP so that we have a clear view on these points prior to the AGM. Link to the form is HERE
- Rule Changes
If you wish to propose changes to any existing rules or put forward any new rules you should submit your proposals to the league secretary at least 2 weeks before the AGM so your suggestions can be circulated with the AGM papers. - Elections
Committee posts are subject to election every year. Nominations for existing posts or proposals for new posts should be submitted to the league chairman at least a week in advance. Nominees may speak to present their case at the AGM before voting takes place. We obviously need to fill 2 key posts this year: Secretary and Communications Officer - Team Entry Form
Before the meeting each team must complete the league entry form on the Merseyside Volleyball League website (https://www.merseyvolley.co.uk/teamregistration/) , with full contact information and details of proposed venues and home match days and times. Entries are now open.

INSURANCE
Just a reminder that insurance coverage is mandatory for all volleyball clubs and their members. Proper insurance ensures the safety and protection of players, coaches, officials, and the club itself in the event of accidents, injuries, or unforeseen incidents.
If you have not already arranged your insurance, please can you look to do so as soon as possible. -
ALAN BELL REMEMBRANCE
A Remembrance gathering for Alan Bell with take place on Friday 19th September 6.30pm onwards at the Cheshire County Sports Club.
Alan’s wife Sue is providing some catering and needs to know roughly how many will be there, so please could you let Andy Fuller know if you plan to attend.
